If you can see it, you can change it Planned
The goal: status bar, quick settings, lockscreen, navigation, animations and more, all in one place.
Make Android yours. Every corner of it.
IVY is an AOSP-based ROM in development. The goal: themes, icons, status bar, lockscreen, gestures and a whole lot more in your hands. Aiming for Android 10 to 15.
IVY is being built around choice: how it looks, how it feels and how it behaves, down to the small stuff. This is what it is aiming for. None of it is released yet.
The goal: status bar, quick settings, lockscreen, navigation, animations and more, all in one place.
The target range. Android 16 comes later, once it is stable.
Themes, accent colors, icon shapes, fonts and clock styles.
Gestures, buttons, haptics and animation speed, tuned the way you like.
Per-app settings, battery and performance profiles, and extra controls.
The aim: update over the air like any Android phone and keep your apps and data, even across a new Android version. Not tested yet.
The plan is to publish device trees, kernel and manifests. Read it, fork it, send a patch.
The target is Android 10 to 15. An Android 16 GSI may follow once it is stable.
IVY is planned as plain AOSP, without Google apps. You would flash a GApps package yourself.
The first install does, because the bootloader has to be unlocked. Later updates are designed to keep your apps and data, even across Android versions. That is a goal, not yet tested.
It should, if it supports Project Treble. You would pick the A/B or A-only image. No Treble? A device build would be needed instead.
